1. The Shift: Why Claude Code Changes GTM

Everyone knows AI exists. But there’s a real gap between “someone on our team pastes things into ChatGPT” and “AI is embedded in how the work actually happens.” We’re in that gap ourselves. This guide shows exactly how the system works today, including what’s still being built.

Here’s how most people use AI: write the email, research the company, summarize the call, close the tab. One task, one output, start from scratch next time. Nothing carries over or compounds. It’s still point-in-time thinking, just faster.

The shift isn’t about which tool you use. It’s about what you’re building.

→ One-shot prompts solve today’s problem. → Reusable systems solve the same problem every time, without starting from scratch.

Claude Code + MCPs + Skills is a system. You build it once. It runs indefinitely. That’s what this guide shows you.

I’m going live to show you how exactly I’m using Claude Code for GTM

2. The Stack: What’s Connected

Claude Code isn’t the web version of Claude. It runs in your terminal, has access to your file system, and doesn’t just suggest. It executes.

MCPs (Model Context Protocol) are how Claude connects to your actual tools. Think of them like USB ports: each one plugs Claude into a different tool. Once connected, Claude doesn’t just know about the tool. It can operate it.
